Cheesy Sausage Balls

Looking for an easy recipe to keep guests happy while your holiday meal is finishing cooking? Try these! This recipe is easily adaptable to kids and adults and is sure to please.

This recipe uses just four ingredients and comes together really easy. Let’s get into it!


Cheesy Sausage Balls

Ingredients

1 lb sausage, uncooked

8 oz cream cheese, softened

1 ¼ cup Bisquick baking mix

1 cup shredded cheddar

Pinch of salt and pepper

Method

Preheat oven to 400F. 

Mix all ingredients until well-combined. Tip: use a stand mixer with the dough hook attachment if you have one!

Roll into 1-2 inch balls and place on a rimmed greased sheet tray.

Bake 18-20 minutes, until browned and cooked through.

Remove from tray and place on a plate or bowl lined with paper towels.

Serve hot as an appetizer.

They also make delicious dumplings for soups and chowders.

Optional: serve with a dip made with equal parts mayonnaise and dijon mustard.
